Ewald Adolf Hein, 93, of Prospect Heights, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2016. Beloved husband of Christel Hein for 63 years. Loving father of Klaus (Teresa) Hein, Petra (Jon) Peters, Marianne (Mark) Lesko. Cherished grandfather of Peter (fiancé Michele Gehrke) Schmidt, and Alex (Jaclyn) Schmidt. Fond Uncle of Gerhard (Gladys) Stahnke. Ewald was born in Denmark, raised in Berlin, Germany and immigrated to the United States in 1953. Ewald was preceded in death by his parents Ferdinand and Natalie Hein and his 6 siblings.
Visitation Monday 12:00 PM until services 1:00 PM at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd. (at Northwest Highway) Mt. Prospect. Interment Memory Gardens Cemetery.
